SUMMER END T-SHIRT SALE

Well, Labor Day has come and gone, and it doesn’t seem possible that the days are already so short! This year, for some reason, it seems to me that the summer has passed even more quickly than usual, although that might have something to do with my age. I turned 80 last December and, even as I consciously work to ignore it, my life keeps sending me reminders. Actually, there are quite a few of us arriving at this exalted age [Ren Ferguson’s daughter threw a birthday party for us at last year’s NAMM show–and it was George Gruhn’s 80th as well] and I think stubbornness must have a lot to do with it.

It is also an age when it is a blessing to be here [to quote Sarah Millican] and when so many have already departed.  No one prepares you for this. I can remember my mother, born in 1910, saying that if you didn’t need a black dress by the time you were seven, you were already doing well. She lost her mother at 5. That all seems so far away now. And my mom has been gone 35 years as well…. things change whether we want them to or not. It is the nature of the beast.

We’ve decided to do some FALL cleaning [why wait till spring] and t-shirts are perfect for layering under shirts, etc. So all of our shirts, both the Printed ones and the Embroidered ones, are marked at very reduced prices. Size selection is limited in some cases so take a look soon to see what is available.

And keep making music, no matter what you do and no matter what your age. It somehow makes everything easier to bear! Hugs!
